Who We Are
This website, houmaautoglass.com, is operated by Delphine Ragueneau, based in France (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website and our phone number. Auto glass work requested through this website is carried out by an independent local auto glass technician in the Houma area.
For any question about this policy or your information, contact us at info@ôdome.fr.
Information We Collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our quote form, we collect your name, phone number, email address (optional), the type of glass that is damaged and your message. If you include vehicle details such as the year, make and model, we collect those too.
Phone calls. Our phone number, (985) 333-7680, runs through a call tracking service. When you call, we receive your phone number and the date, time and length of the call. If you leave a voicemail, the message is recorded and stored by that service so we can listen to it and call you back.
Technical information. When you submit the form, our form software records your IP address and the time of submission, mainly to prevent spam and abuse. Our hosting provider also keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested and time of visit) for security and maintenance.
Please do not include sensitive information such as financial, health or government ID details in the form.
How We Use Your Information
- To answer your request, prepare your quote, schedule the work and follow up on it.
- To pass your request to the local technician who will do the work.
- To listen to your voicemail, check the details of your request and resolve disputes.
- To protect the website against spam, fraud and misuse.
- To comply with our legal obligations.
We do not send marketing text messages or marketing emails. We only contact you about the request you made.
Who We Share It With
- Our local technician. Your request, including your contact details and vehicle information, is shared with the independent auto glass technician who performs the work, so they can contact you, give you a quote and do the job.
- Service providers. Companies that host this website, deliver our email, route our phone calls and store voicemail messages. They process your information only on our behalf and for these purposes.
- Legal reasons. Authorities or other parties when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, your safety or the safety of others.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Voicemail and Call Recording
We do not record live phone conversations. Only voicemail messages you choose to leave after the tone are recorded. If we ever start recording live calls, you will be informed at the start of the call. If you prefer not to leave a recorded message, you can reach us through our quote form instead.
Cookies and Embedded Maps
This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Only cookies strictly needed for the site to work may be set.
Our homepage shows an embedded Google map. When it loads, Google may receive information such as your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google’s own privacy policy. If we add analytics or advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
How Long We Keep It
- Quote requests: up to 24 months after your last contact with us, then deleted.
- IP addresses recorded with form submissions: up to 90 days.
- Voicemail messages and call details: up to 12 months.
- Server logs: according to our hosting provider’s standard retention.
We may keep some information longer if the law requires it or if it is needed to resolve a dispute.
Legal Basis (EU and UK)
Because we are based in France, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) may apply to our handling of your information. We rely on these legal bases: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (answering your quote request), our legitimate interests (security and spam prevention), and compliance with legal obligations.
International Transfers
We are based in France, while our technician and some of our service providers are in the United States. Your information may therefore be transferred between the United States and the European Union. Where required, these transfers are necessary to handle your request, or are covered by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, to stop using it, to restrict how we use it or to provide it to you in a portable format. Residents of some U.S. states have similar rights under their state laws. To make a request, email info@ôdome.fr. We will answer within one month and may need to verify your identity first. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
If you believe we have not handled your information properly, you can contact the French data protection authority (CNIL, cnil.fr) or the authority where you live.
Information Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including secure (HTTPS) connections and restricted access to form submissions and call records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can see it.
Third-Party Websites
This website may link to other websites, such as map or review services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies when you visit them.
Children’s Privacy
This website is intended for adults who need auto glass service. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
